Rosalie-Rae is a 24 year old singer songwriter from Cambridgeshire, united kingdom, she has been singing since the age of 10. At the age of 17 she wrote her first EP called "days like these will come and go" this was released under the name Jessica G back in 2017, she also released her second EP the following year called "my melodic notebook" which was a 4 track acoustic EP which includes just vocals, piano and guitar.
Going on a few years later she decided to change her artist name to become Rosalie-Rae, releasing her first single "April showers brings may flowers" on the 12th of April 2020 which was a collaboration based project with her partner. This track was created during lockdown and was released as a charity song which raised money for the charities age UK and also MIND. This emotional lockdown based song made its way onto BBC radio Cambridge as well and BBC introducing.
Later that year she released her first album "waves of royal blue". All 12 tracks were written & recorded during lockdown, & released September the 21st 2020. The album can be found on all major music platforms such as Spotify, youtube, and apple music.
Her most recent release to date is "All I wanna do is sing in the rain" which was released as a single on the 27th of September 2021. This song is an alternative, indie pop style which resembles that of Lana del Rey and Billie Eilish. since then she has been working on some collaborations with some upcoming artists from the DNB genre, working alongside producers "Perfect visions" & "volition" these are upbeat dance tracks but they will still resemble the soft melodies and haunting vocals used in previous music. Rosalie-Rae is also working on a new EP which is said to be more heavily orchestrated and influenced by some of her idols London Grammar and Lana Del Rey.
